Position Overview

We are looking for career-minded professionals with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Business Development Services team as a Consultant Database Specialist. The role specifically supports the completion and maintenance of information in consultant databases for all asset classes. Information is entered on monthly & quarterly basis for strategies and funds for all strategies, for global and regional consultants. Consultant Database Specialists work with firm systems, databases, and resources to source quantitative and qualitative data, complete drafts for review by investment strategy specialists, and help maintain strategy language in our database. Members work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.

 

The successful candidate should have experience in or knowledge of the investment management industry, experience with consultant databases (eVestment, OMNI, Mercer, Morningstar, Albourne, PSN- Informa, Investmetrics, WTW, etc.) and Qvidian/Loopio/any additional proposal softwares.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals whose primary responsibilities are to manage the consultant database efforts
  • Completion of questionnaires/databases, including compiling existing language, strategy set ups, review of quantitative data for accuracy, reviewing documents to ensure high quality, error-free final product and to ensure all databases are completed on a timely basis
  • Co-ordinating with Investment teams and other responsible teams to get the responses added to databases
  • Work across the global IM Business Development teams located in North America, Europe, and Asia
  • Contribute to ongoing quality and efficiency improvements

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, Experience with Qvidian/Loopio/any additional proposal softwares preferred
  • Minimum of three years and Maximum of 5 years of industry experience
  • Key attributes include commitment, team spirit, and collaboration
  • Notice period should be 30 -60 days (not 90 days)
