OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT

 

The International Wealth Management Asia Operations Client Onboarding team is responsible

for supporting Private Wealth Management (PWM) business unit in Hong Kong, Singapore and

Australia.

 

The Client Onboarding team within Asia Wealth Management (AWM) Operations is primarily

responsible for Account Opening, Account Maintenance and Account Closure of PWM clients.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The team has diverse responsibilities, including but not limited to:

· Processing of PWM Account opening documentation in Asia region received from PWM

Sales teams

· Liaise closely with PWM Branch admins for approvals of client documents and ensure

paperwork is complete before processing the documents in relevant systems

· Review completed and approved documents and enter into various systems/applications

used for client on-boarding /set up

· Work with PWM Business approvers to ensure Account Opening requests are processed

in a timely manner

· Processing of Account Maintenance requests (address changes and any other referential

data) received from clients into relevant systems

· Processing of Account Closure requests received after performing appropriate checks

and balances

· Escalate any risk issues to management

The ideal candidate will be/have:

 

· Strong investigative, analytical and problem solving skills

· Experience of client onboarding process preferred, but not a must

· Strong attention to detail and be highly deadline oriented

· Ability to handle volumes with accuracy

· Providing value-added client service to the business

· A proactive nature, challenging and questioning processes, seeking innovative solutions to

improve efficiency and mitigate risk

· Ability to identify, escalate risk issues and manage upward communication to all stakeholders and install adequate controls to mitigate risk · Excellent teamwork skills, outgoing and motivated · Effective organizational skills · Self-motivated with an ability to work consistently and efficiently under pressure · High degree of computer literacy, including knowledge of Windows-based applications such as Word and Excel
