Regional Consumer Operations Risk Control Officer-

Description

The incumbent will partner closely with the Regional & Country Consumer Operations teams, Regional & Global functions (including Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk Management, etc) as well as Country Consumer Business Operational Risk and Control (CBORC) to support Operations Processes reengineering efforts

The role would support the Asia GCB Operations leadership team in managing and mitigating operational risks while working on Operations Processes reengineering across 17 countries. The incumbent will also provide subject matter expertise on risk and control, project manage regional control initiatives and engage in Consumer Operations controls strategy, governance and framework

This role is part of the Regional Consumer Operations teams and reports to the Regional Consumer Operations Risk and Control Senior Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Ops teams to ensure controls are appropriately updated in Operations process flows and lead process reengineering projects

Identify opportunities for Digitization and Automation of controls including RPA opportunities

Support effects for process re-engineering, standardization and feasibility analysis

Support design and implementation of new operating model for Operations, and associated processes and procedures

Support development and implementation of relevant operating model changes in order to pivot the Operations organization towards digitization and enhanced client experience

Provide inputs for definition of comprehensive KPIs/Metrics for senior executive consumption for each Ops function by working in close partnership with them

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Bachelor degree

Minimum 5 years of experience with strong strategic, analytical and product management (Consumer Operations) skills

Good working knowledge of Consumer Operations and processes

Strong Stakeholder Management Skills (e.g. written and verbal communication, influencing skills & negotiation)

Strong interpersonal skills, situational awareness and emotional intelligence

Ability to work independently, interface and execute with a sense of urgently and to deliver on tasks effectively and efficiently
