  • Function/Group: SME/BSG/MME
  • Location: Mumbai

Business/Department Objectives:

Commercial Bank partners with Mid-Market Enterprises to provide an array of banking services. MME clients are Indian promoted companies with turnover between USD 50MM to USD 500MM. Our range of products include commercial loans, FX and treasury, cash and trade solutions to structured trade, investment banking and capital market solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and on-board MME clients. Identify areas for pitching asset or liability solutions, work with product partners across TTS, FX etc. to suggest appropriate solutions
  • For asset clients, work with Credit Analytics Unit (CAU) and Risk partners to evaluate credit appropriateness and disburse the facility

Dy-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Network through industry associations or use personal/professional alliances to identify and prospect MME names
  • Interact with promoters/top management in target companies and understand their financial/banking requirements
  • Develop solutions for the company, including credit solutions. Partner with product specialists across FX, TTS and IB to suggest appropriate client solutions
  • Work with Credit Analytics Unit and Risk partners to structure a credit solution with appropriate security structure and other risk mitigants
  • Work with Operations and CRMS to complete KYC/loan documentation to on-board the client

Financial/Budgetary:

  • Revenue of USD 300K per year from acquired MME clients

Individual Contributor (IC)/Managerial:

  • ¬†Individual Contributor

 Key Deliverables:

  • 6 MME names per year
  • Revenue of USD 300K per year from acquired MME clients

Percentage of Travel:

  • Yes, 25% of the Time

Education:

  • MBA/C.A.

Experience:

  • Required: Min 1 yr of experience¬†
  • Preferred: Earlier exposure to Credit Analytics Unit/Risk, experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking/Product Sales would be an added advantage

Certifications:

  • Preferred: Fundamentals of Credit Underwriting, Risk, Financial Statement Analysis, Trade and Cash Ace, SPIN

Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Internal: Credit Analytics Unit, Risk, TTS, ICG, CPB, Legal/Compliance, IBC/BUCO, Operations, CRMS, CCB Product and Marketing
  • External: Client organizations, Industry associations, key influencers.
