Job Title: Client Offboarding Data Specialist
Division: KYC Operations / Client Lifecycle Management
Location: Bangalore


KYC Operations play an integral part in the firm’s first line of defense against financial crime, reducing the risk of working with new clients (primarily Know Your Customer (KYC) risk), whilst ensuring client relationships are maintained efficiently and exited in an appropriate and controlled manner.

The position is responsible for data analytics and data alignment for various bank products data. It requires collaboration with key members of the client’s business units and IT Support teams. The Candidate will work alongside members various application support/tech team to craft a Data maintenance activists using the Database ETL platforms. This position will gather requirements by analyzing data needs across multiple systems. Knowledge of Data Reconciliations within a Banking sector is a strong plus. Knowledge of the Oracle and PL SQL, ETL and Informatica is a help as well.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform Impact Analysis for Business Requirements, determine requirement assumptions and constraints
  • Perform data analysis for integration between the existing information systems using SQL queries and IDQ
  • Request and load data across different applications using control script or TOAD
  • Perform data reconciliation between different application including KYC using complex SQL queries and IDQ mappings
  • Validating the closures by writing SQL queries
  • Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of the progress and challenges and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Drive the requirement gathering process for all system enhancements initiatives, establishes and enforces best practices for analysis.
  • Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions.
  • Work closely with support teams for code migrations and Files submissions for Change implementations, have a hands-on approach to solving problems.

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Must have experience of Writing, modifying Oracle PL/SQL /stored procedures/functions, complex SQL queries
  • Working experience on UNIX or Windows batch scripts and Files transfer knowledge on WinSCP or Putty.
  • Strong ETL and data quality concepts IDQ is preferable.
  • Prior experience in reconciliation and data analytics
  • Shows initiative and reacts quickly to changes in priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pays attention to detail and can multi-task
  • Good research and analytical skills combined with a good sense of risk awareness
  • Diligence and the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy as well as the ability to filter large volume of data & information for relevance against established criteria
  • Excellent verbal English communication skill
