Primary Responsibilities


The position is for a ********.  Individual will be working on implementing and supporting Hyperion suit of applications such as PBCS and FCCS. At a minimum, the individual must have and be able to demonstrate:

  • Support Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) and Financials Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
  • Strong functional understanding of Financial Planning and Budgeting, Consolidation and Reconciliation with experience in Business Process redesign or transformation
  • Knowledge of Oracle on-premise solutions such as Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Data Management
  • Administration of current state PBCS environment in support of rolling budget / forecast models
  • Support of budget / planning income statement and workforce planning PBCS cubes is ‘cube’ the same as application? These are the current apps being implemented, up to you if you want to include specific details in JD: Employee, Projects, Capital, Assets, P&L, BalanceSheet Cash Flow, Code Detail and VOP (for manufacturing), Product
  • Review and maintain Metadata and interfaces needed to ensure accurate and timely financials in applications Apex will be the tool users will use to maintain data and input into the Planning process.
  • Build or modify Data Management rules to meet the changing business needs
  • Review and update data mappings as needed.
  • FCCS
    • Manage end-to-end FCCS close process with Corporate Accounting
    • Monitor scheduled processes and research any errors
    • Maintain interfaces to/from external systems in Data Management
    • Maintain dimensions (including hierarchies and attributes)
    • Update Business Rules as needed
    • Update Task Manager on a monthly basis
  • Update/create data forms for data input
  • Help create & maintain reports in Financial Reporting Studio
  • Provide quality employee partner service, including meeting internal and external deadlines, to ensure quality work
  • Maintain accurate records to support the audit trail (SOX Compliance) for assigned Finance activities
  • Provide required information to support both internal and external auditors
  • Assist and support the implementation of new systems and processes as directed
  • Complete special projects, as needed.

  • Must be a team player willing to work in conjunction with on-site client's team and other consultants
  • Ability to apply past knowledge to provide suggestion to improve quality of support


Education and Experience


  • BE/MCA /M.Sc. degree
  • Overall experience required: 5-7 years.
  • 3 + years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Products and Solutions (PBCS, EPBCS)
  • At least four years of experience working hands-on with the HFM or FCCS
  • Understanding of corporate month end close and consolidation process and actual corporate reporting requirements
  • Experience in developing solutions for FDMEE or Data Management
  • Experience in developing Financial Reports
  • Experience in SmartView
