Azure Administrator – Primary Role.

AWS Sys Ops Responsibility -Secondary skills

Technology: Azure and AWS SysOps.

A clear understanding of core Cloud Computing services is highly crucial for an Azure platform-specific job role. You need to understand the basic functioning of Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud. As an Azure Web / System Administrator, collaborate with a team responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining our Cloud services and adopting DevOps best practices.

Be a part of ensuring the security and integrity of a cloud based, Azure system to best meet and exceed customers' expectations.

Area: PowerShell, Python Scripting, OS (Windows/Unix) Knowledge, Good with LAMBDA, Azure CLI, Terraform and Cloudfromation Template,

Role: Troubleshooting Azure Services and Automation, Support kills.

Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification is a Must.

Required to work in shifts: Yes, (Morning OR Evening).

Weekend Saturday/Sunday/Holiday Support- Yes.

Working hours - 9 hrs from office (Monday to Friday) & Weekend / Holiday -support can be from remote (WFH).

3 to 5 Years of Experience in Cloud (Azure).

Responsibilities

Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Server Systems (Windows, UNIX) and Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security.

Interacting with Application developers, infrastructure and network engineers and company management.

Monitoring the daily operation and administration of Cloud Services (Azure/AWS) while ensuring systems are available for network traffic.

Assisting during the 'Decision' phase of new initiatives.

Supporting the deployment of both Infra services, app services, function apps, and databases in addition to updates while maintaining synchronization between environments.

Facilitating automated deployment and code compliance prior to promoting to production.

Enforcing security compliance, policies, and permissions.

Applying patch and releases to the environment when and then needed.

Tops Skills:

Azure experience (troubleshoot, look through logs, very detailed exp, ability to resolve problems in azure and relay info to developers, but be sensitive to security)

DevOps Experience

Server System knowledge: able to troubleshoot issues and look at scripts.

Automat Ops task through PowerShell scripting (able to script and run things in Azure)

80% of the work is in the cloud vs Onpriem hosting (from which they basically grab tickets, do deployment, IIS, SQL, troubleshoot, deploy, use windows 2016 or newer)

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field of study, preferred, not required

3-5+ years of experience within Azure and Microsoft Windows Server

Examples of Azure experience desired could include:

PaaS monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates/Terraform/CloudFormation)

Azure CLI

Front Door & App Gateways

Security and performance monitoring

Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Kudu

Examples of Microsoft Windows Server experience could include:

Ability to analyze system and application logs to identify potential issues and assist with troubleshooting.

Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments.

Assist with performing audits of systems and software.

Installing and configuring new software.

Troubleshooting Major outages (P1 and P2) and restore the service.

Managing security to include review and remediation.

Monitoring cloud services for errors and performing problem identification and resolution.

DevOps knowledge required

Ability to identify issues and determine root cause and collaborate on a solution when site abnormalities are encountered.
