Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical writing support regarding documents. Document types include playbooks, operations documents, SOP’s, technical instructions, management reports, diagrams, and briefing materials.
  • Create and maintain documents, templates, and documentation management system.
  • Import and reconcile style properties from external documents when this is the most efficient approach.
  • Recommend documentation standards.
  • Ensure documentation quality to 99% error free regarding formatting, portion marking, spelling, and grammatical correctness.
  • Create and modify documents containing form fields.
  • Revise and modify previously written documents to conform to new templates.
  • Structure documentation to ensure maximum readability and call out unclear passages for correction whenever necessary.
  • Ensure documentation is reviewed regularly and up-to-date.


Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of technical writing experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Mastery of English grammar, sentences syntax and formatting.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products including Word and PowerPoint.

 

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Experience in cyber security principles, document and template creation, technical editing.
  • A demonstrated ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve documentation and technical content issues.
  • Self-starter, with high attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
