Team Profile

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

 

While this role will sit in the Fixed Income Division, there will be close collaboration with Client’s Global Sustainable Finance Group (“GSF”). GSF aims to drive the growth of sustainable investing through ongoing development of products and solutions, thought leadership and capacity building initiatives.

 

Role Profile

As a data entry analyst your role will be to support the gathering, cleaning and entry of unstructured data into a clean and machine-readable output. The source of the data is mainly emails and similar electronic communication records. The data will need to be translated out of emails and into an excel-like table.

 

You will work closely with and be supported by an internal development team who will be focused on using the data and building analytics that depend on the entered data.

 

You will be responsible for daily data entry into a consistent format that will then immediately be used by the business. It is important that the data is entered in a timely fashion and that a high attention to detail is paid to the output.

                                

Functional Skills Required

  • Detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with data entry and data formatting
  • Analytic background

Technical Skills Required

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with unstructured data (i.e. text, documents)
  • Familiarity with the structure of machine-readable datasets (i.e. data tables)
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and dynamic team

Skills Desired

  • Expertise with a mainstream object-oriented or functional programming language – Python desired
  • Experience with data processing and data quality
  • Experience in Data Warehousing
