JD:

Roles and Responsibilities-

* Define and leads the implementation of strategic solution as well as identify tactical solutions when necessary.

* Leads projects delivery and ensure projects are within scope, time constraints, and deliverables are of the highest quality.

* Work with other leads to further technology led transformation agenda

* Coaches team members to maximize their performance and potential

* Proactively seeks knowledge through external and internal sources

* Leverage DevOps to automate application testing and deployments

* Leads projects delivery and ensure projects are within scope, time constraints, and deliverables are of the highest quality.

Skills Required:

* Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models

* Excellent Core Java (8+), Spring, and programming skills

* Familiarity with REST, JSON, XML

* Good Design skills (Design Patterns)

* Proficiency with database development, including modelling and DB performance tuning

*Knowledge of database application concepts, SQL, query optimization

 

* Ability to work with customers, gather requirements and create solutions independently

* Active participation within and among teams and colleagues distributed globally

* Excellent problem-solving skills, in particular a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems.

* Agile development experience

Nice to have-

* Proficiency developing in scripting languages such as Python especially under Unix/Linux

* Angular and Java Script experience a plus

* Experience with web application user interface and usability concepts

* Understanding of secure software development concepts, especially in a cloud platform

* Experience with monitoring, event/alert management and observability concepts a plus.

* Exposure to financial industry

* Source control (preferably Git) and continuous Integration tools
