Role and responsibilities  

help lead the complex sourcing/purchasing of Network and Telecommunications voice and data hardware and carrier transport services for Firmwide Sourcing, reporting into the Global Head of IT Telecom Sourcing.

· Perform the Strategic Sourcing role for various Telecomm categories including Circuits, Physical and Logical Connectivity, Network Infrastructure Hardware, Multimedia, Mobility (cellular services) and Colocation space.

· Working closely with vendors such as Cisco, Arista, ICE, Equinix, Verizon, ATT, Lumen, Verizon

· Managing their Book of Work via our Source to Pay procurement system which is Ariba

· Manage and execute on a portfolio of projects adhering to the Policy and Procedures Sourcing Guide

· Must have ability to multi-task, execute and deliver on a large number of projects at once

· Focus on how to derive a savings in the Telecommunications category

· Build and maintain relationships with Business Units and Technology stakeholders, advising on sourcing options and strategies

· Lead and support with vendor selection; contract negotiations and drafting vendor contracts, working closely with Legal and Business Unit and Technology stakeholders to define scope and requirements

· Review, write and amend supplier contracts. Lead all contract language negotiation and engage legal as necessary. Oversee compliance to existing contracts, and where necessary take steps to rectify deficiencies.

· Engage legal and risk teams during the supplier on-boarding and contracting phases

· Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure specific regional requirements and limitations are incorporated into sourcing projects and contracts

· Develop and implement RFI/RFP/RFQ's including E-Auctions/Reverse Auctions via Ariba as well as negotiating with vendors and drafting vendor contracts.

· Support strategic projects that leverage global vendor relationships across the firm for cost advantage and quality transactions from a shareholder perspective

· Work with sourcing managers and internal clients to gather business requirements quantify service levels identify deliverables and terms and conditions.
