Sr Tableau Developer

Design and Development Responsibilities
Visualization development in Tableau, Metadata creation and documentation Data Products, including uplift of data literacy and change management for Tableau developers within analytics systems. Drive UAT activities with business partners to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Ensures standards are maintained across all developments Debug and Resolve any issues – new and existing. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills to prepare metadata layer and do data analysis.
• Ability to communicate with business on any issues reported with the reports/data and do the root cause.
• Ability to apply past knowledge to provide suggestion to improve quality of support.
• Work collaboratively across teams across regions.
• Participate in technical discussions to improve processes and application

Requirements & Analysis Responsibilities
• Responsible to investigate, analyze and understand data contents of source data systems
• Research, evaluate, identify alternative approaches, recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems ranging from small to large work efforts for low to high complexity problems
• Comply with standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing and deployment activities as established by departmental and organizational standard
• Demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills and will bring communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills, creativity, and problem solving skills to a challenging environment
• Understands dependencies and timing issues between source systems and data warehouse operations
• Works directly with business process experts, BI Analysts, and IT Manager to understand requirements for data warehouse development projects

• BE/MCA /M.Sc degree
• Overall IT experience 7+
• Tableau 10 and above (5+ years)
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL (7+ years)
• Strong analytical skills
• Change Management
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong critical listening and thinking skills
