Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in risk management, Analytics , statistical modeling and financial accounting. This role is crucial in identifying and mitigating credit risks, ensuring the stability and profitability of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Analytics:
Conduct comprehensive risk analysis to identify potential credit risks.
Utilize statistical and quantitative methods to assess and model credit risk.
Develop risk models to predict and mitigate potential credit losses.

Portfolio Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze the performance of credit portfolios.
Identify trends and emerging risks within the portfolio.
Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance and risk exposures.

Risk Strategy Design:
Design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate credit risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans.
Review and enhance existing risk policies and procedures.
Data Management and Reporting:
Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support risk assessment and decision-making.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk databases.
Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, and risk strategy design.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python, SQL).
Strong knowledge of risk modeling and quantitative analysis techniques.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit risk management.
