Job Description
The Account Management Services (AMS) within the SSBO Client Onboarding, Regulatory and Data Services (CORDS), team is mainly responsible for:
- Managing the account closure due diligence checks, follow up on exception clearance with contact person in related Business Unit, FCG or Operations, and partner with account closure teams to close the accounts.
- Perform party/account dormancy assessment.
- Produce metrics and reports.
The team supports global function, covered out of Mumbai region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible to run the necessary pre-closure checks and advise if the account is eligible for closure.
- Mitigating Risk by performing due diligence before the closure of an account.
- Interacting with various internal MS teams to receive appropriate approvals for closure.
- Identifying Dormant Accounts and dormant parties
- Perform party/account dormancy assessment on a quarterly basis, ensuring complete and accurate dormant accounts are pulled out on a Quarterly basis through various systems.
- Partnering with Business Control Unit and other operations teams to ensure appropriate action is taken either to retain or to close the dormant account and dormant party.
- Daily accounts closure request handling – ServiceNow tickets / PIPEX.
- Maintain exclusion list and conduct periodic review.
- Liaise with Technology and CTB on automation
- Producing stake holder metrics and month-end reporting
- Responding and assisting in stakeholder requests
- Other ad hoc projects as required.
- Maintaining governance of Cross Divisional Policy: Account and Party Dormancy.
- Demonstrating strong communications skills through the following:
- Communicating with business units and operations groups for timely review and clear dependencies through meetings and conference calls
- Working extensively and building relationships with all stakeholder groups such as the Business Control Unit, Finance, Credit, Regulatory teams and various operations departments
