1. Contract Duration – 1 year

2. Location – Mumbai

3. Shift Time – 12-9pm IST

4. Years of experience required – 3-5 years

5. WFH/WFO/Hybrid –   Hybrid- 3 days WFO

6. Laptop - Yes

7. Acceptable Notice Period - 1-2 Months

 

Reconciliation, Break Reporting and Resolution, Metrics:

  • Reconcile positions and market values for swap, options, and forward FXs with counterparties and fund accountants
  • Perform daily collateral balance reconciliations with counterparties and custodians
  • Perform daily futures and collateral holdings reconciliations with clearing brokers
  • Perform rate resets and instruct settlements on swaps
  • Perform position and market value reconciliations between Internal systems
  • Report and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely manner
  • Escalate material breaks or breaks which could lead to a NAV error or incorrect valuation to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting to the Derivatives teams in Europe and North America
  • Make recommendations on process improvements and control enhancements
  • Review cash settlement breaks pertaining to rate resets
  • Maintain metrics regarding above tasks together with trade volumes
  • Contribute to operational workflows addressing internal requirements
  • Produce monthly counterparty risk reporting for the  business and other stakeholders

 

Relationship Management:

  • Work with third party vendors such as fund accountants, custodians, and technology service providers to ensure derivative functions run smoothly
  • Liaise with other stakeholders from offices around the globe
  • Liaise with Fund Administration and Valuation Control teams in Europe and US
  • Liaise with Derivative Middle Office teams to resolve high impact reconciliation breaks

  • High degree of computer literacy, including working knowledge of Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel and Access
  • Demonstrated success working in a high volume, high intensity derivatives environment.
  • Proven record of collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues across geographic and functional boundaries. Must be team oriented
  • Professional maturity, self-confidence, decisiveness and outstanding business judgment
