Description:
At the heart of client is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in cash management, trade finance, lending, trust and agency services and securities services, as well as risk management for foreign exchange and interest rates.
Securities Services (SeS) provides custody, clearing, settlement and fund services to global custodians, broker dealers, and prime brokers as well as buy-side firms and other institutional clients.
The SeS Business Management Team (BM Team) are looking to hire an individual to manage for Know Your Customer (KYC) and client perimeter activities globally. The successful candidate will join an existing team based out of India, Berlin, and London. They will be responsible for ensuring the team is successful in delivering against both internal and external deadlines relating to Know Your Client (KYC) or Anti Money Laundering (AML).
He / She will be responsible for escalations to senior management as well as providing regular management information updates to the global, and regional heads of the business.
The individual will represent Securities Services on global forums and will support delivery / roll out of tactical or strategic changes which impact the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Business support – coordination
- Monitor various workflow applications, retrieve and maintain data with highest level of accuracy
- Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies, design processes and controls to avoid data discrepancies in future.
- Contribute and create management presentations and MIS interfacing for senior stakeholders
- Provide analytical support to the KYC team and senior management decision making.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Liaison with diverse set of internal stakeholders/divisions such as technology, business, operations, risk management etc. to meet project goals
- Tracking deadlines, deliverables, resources and timelines throughout the project process, manage changes and escalations, as required
- Ensure documentation, supporting materials and project plans are updated and readily available for Steering committees, other internal teams and senior leaders
- Own the delivery of identified strategic initiatives in response to business requirements such as migration management etc.
- Undertake special project work as requested and on an ad hoc basis.
Presentations and MIS (PPT and Excel)
- Help and assist with management presentations and MIS interfacing with other teams and systems.
Assist in identifying strategic initiatives in response to business requirements.
Your experience and skills:
- Desired background: Graduate with 3 – 6 years of experience in Financial Services
- Strong technical skills, particularly in dealing with high volume of data, management of databases, advanced excel, macros, data sets.
- Proficiency in other MS office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate clearly and present information in a compelling manner
- Ability to integrate well into a team and build collaborative relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
- Readiness and ability to learn “on the job”, to deep-dive independently and transfer learnings to related processes/cases including evaluation of possible variations.
- Willingness to be flexible, to meet changing work priorities and tasks, with an ability to manage pressure days.
- An eye for detail, identify data discrepancies and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Experience in working on Global/ regulatory topics/ KYC/ Operational risk management, compliance and Project Management would be a plus
