Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Interact with the clients / technology providers and project managers via email or telephone to understand and setup connectivity relationship between Client's Prime Brokerage and clients/ their technology providers.
  • Perform various types of tests on sample trade files of Equity Trades, Equity Swaps, Repos, FX, Stock Loan and Listed Derivatives transactions.
  • Communicate results and issues on a timely basis via email or telephonic conversation to the Clients, Prime Brokerage Trades & IT team globally.
  • Understand the test trade files and refine testing processes. Follow up with the internal team to fix the issues identified during trade testing.
  • Develop and understand Client application to identify, isolate and quickly communicate source of issues.
  • Build and manage relationships with business and technology staff to enhance understanding and drive deliverables.
  • Co-ordinate with other Business units & Client service team to remediate any issue with service set ups.
  • Candidate is expected to leverage his/ her technical knowledge in suggesting system / process enhancement.

 

Skills required (essential)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree in finance or operations management desirable
  • Experience: Min 3-5 Years
  • Good analytical skills to work on capital market products.
  • Ability to anticipate and provide solutions to business and operational problems.
  • Fluency in English and good articulation skills to present own views while dealing with various Morgan Stanley groups in India and overseas.
  • Ability to work well in teams and manage relationships with global colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managing expectations along the way.
  • Aptitude to work on multiple proprietary systems/ applications.
  • Ability to work efficiently on MS Excel spreadsheets.

 

Skills desired

 

  • Previous experience in capital markets
  • Enthusiasm to volunteer for planning, organizing and participating in events held by the department and firm

 

 

 

Contract duration- 12 Months

Years of exp- 2-5 years

Shift timing- 1 pm- 10.30 PM

Acceptable Notice Period- Immediate to 30 days
