- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to automate:
- Query generation and performance tuning
- Schema exploration and ER diagram creation
- Data dictionary and metadata documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient, production-ready SQL
- Develop stored procedures, views, and performance-optimized scripts for dashboards and ETL processes
- Build AI-integrated pipelines to reduce development time and improve query accuracy
- Contribute to prompt engineering for advanced database operations
- Partner with engineers to embed AI in database lifecycle tasks—from schema management to index optimization
- Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
- Knowledge sharing with the team to adopt best practices
- Actively contribute to and re-use community best practices.

Desired Skills:
|
- 4-5 years of experience in SQL development, Indexing and performance optimization
- Strong foundation in relational database design, normalization, ER modeling and query tuning
- Writing reusable logic for business rules
- Using execution plans, indexing strategies, and profiling tools
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, OpenAI or similar for data tasks.
- Prompt engineering, using LLMs for query generation and documentation.
- Role-based access, encryption, GDPR awareness
- Excellent communication skills to document and present technical logic clearly
- Expertise in standard software engineering methodology, e.g. unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation
- Ensuring data accuracy and query reliability
- Prioritizing tasks across multiple projects
