• CMOS Technology Fundamentals • Understanding of NMOS/PMOS devices, layout layers, and design rules 2. Analog Layout Techniques • Basic knowledge of matching techniques (common centroid, interdigitated layout) • Symmetry and shielding in analog design 3. EDA Tools • Hands-on experience or training with layout tools like Cadence Virtuoso • Awareness of LVS (Layout vs Schematic) and DRC (Design Rule Check) 4. Physical Verification • Basic understanding of DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction • Familiarity with Calibre, Assura, or similar tools is a plus 5. Reading and Interpreting Schematics • Ability to convert circuit schematics into efficient physical layouts
