Summary:
As a Specialist HR for client's Research and Development team in Bangalore, the incumbent will be responsible for providing HR support and will be a trusted partner to employees and managers, using HR experience to manage employee engagement and communication of programs and solutions. The position will entail both transactional and tactical HR support. The candidate should possess a high degree of motivation, ability to communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively with all levels of employees.
What is expected of the role?
Engagement:
• Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (e.g., Induction program).
• Support employees and managers regarding HR policies
• Point of contact for supporting campus program (Internship program and engagement), training programs related to Performance management and other managerial trainings
• Partner and collaborate closely with functional COE members to resolve HR matters.
HR Operations:
• Point liaison regarding HR operations matters (e.g., off-boarding process).
• Handle the organization’s employee database and prepare reports (WD/Payroll)
• Conduct employee data audits (e.g., funding entity, correctness of information related to employee data on Workday).
Employee Relations:
• Work independently to resolve straightforward HR matters.
• Raise HR matters to respective HR team members, as needed.

Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional human resource experience.
• Knowledge of HR management components e.g. Performance management, Compensation, Culture and engagement.
• Experience working with People Managers and employees working in a variety of locations (field, corporate, global).
