?? Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DataStage Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, advanced SQL proficiency, and hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including Snowflake adapters. This remote role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines to support enterprise-level data integration and analytics initiatives.

 

?? Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
Implement and manage Snowflake adapters for seamless cloud data integration.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements.
Optimize SQL queries and ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues across multiple systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Document technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and process logic.

 

?? Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of overall experience in ETL development.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.
Strong command of SQL (including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning).
Experience with Snowflake adapters and cloud data integration.
Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools and version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
