Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect to lead microservice migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will translate complex business and technical requirements into robust cloud-based architectures and provide technical leadership. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of on-premise infrastructure components and experience in on-premise to cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS and create necessary documentation for microservice migration to EKS.
  • Perform comprehensive cloud readiness assessments of infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop migration roadmaps and define strategies based on workload analysis.
  • Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams for seamless migration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Implement and monitor security controls, ensuring compliance.
  • Optimize cloud workloads post-migration for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS migration and architecture design.
  • Expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Experience with AWS Migration Hub / MGN (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware) and containerization (EKS, ECS, Fargate).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
