Job Description

The role supports India Regulatory Reporting within the Enterprise Risk and Finance (ERF) application production support team, with a focus on the Fintellix application. The candidate will ensure timely and accurate reporting aligned with RBI requirements, manage production incidents, and coordinate with stakeholders for regulatory submissions.

In addition to day-to-day application support, the role requires team leadership to coordinate workloads, maintain a stable environment, drive operational excellence, and contribute to key initiatives. The candidate will also support regulatory assessments and audit requests. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required for incident support, change releases, and project activities.

Responsibilities

 

Application Production Support for the Client’s Enterprise Risk and Finance Applications, primary responsibilities include but not limited to

  1. Provide production support forFintellix, ensuring stability and timely delivery of India regulatory reports, including FORM A and other RBI-mandated submissions.
  2. Collaborate with business users, CIO partners, and vendors to meet RBI reporting timelines.
  3. Coordinate incident resolution and change management activities related to Fintellix with internal and external teams.
  4. Identify and resolve production incidents; perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes through Problem Management.
  5. Manage incident and problem tickets using the enterprise ITSM tool.
  6. Support the full lifecycle of services—from design and deployment to operations and continuous improvement.
  7. Drive automation and system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  8. Work effectively with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless support coverage.
  9. Respond to audit and risk queries and support regulatory assessments.
  10. Prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Generate insightful metrics and reports to support strategic decisions and engage with the Data Governance team and key stakeholders.

Required Skills

 

 

  • Experience & Domain Knowledge:
    • Minimum 10+ years of IT experience in production support for both vendor and in-house applications.
    • Hands-on experience with Fintellix or similar regulatory reporting platforms.
    • Strong understanding of India regulatory frameworks, especially RBI reporting.
    • Familiarity with Global Finance Regulatory Reporting (GFRR) and Non-Finance Regulatory Reporting (NFRR).
    • Experience working in a matrix reporting environment within a multinational banking setup.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
    • Proficient in scripting and Oracle SQL for incident resolution.
    • Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
    • Understanding of event-driven and schedule-driven batch processes.
  • Operational & Communication Skills:
    • Ability to manage incident and problem resolution, including on-call support and coordination across teams.
    • Skilled in assessing severity, gathering impact, and escalating issues to ensure timely restoration.
    • Strong collaboration with Infrastructure, Development, and Testing teams for integrated releases and upgrades.
    • Capable of supporting internal and external audits and responding to risk queries.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
    • Ability to generate insightful metrics and reports that influence decisions and support Data Governance.
    • Proactive in identifying cross-functional issues and contributing to automation and performance improvements.
