Lead Counsel – Legal & Compliance (Staffing & SaaS).
Position: Lead Counsel – Legal & Compliance (Staffing & SaaS)

Employment Counsel & Compliance Operations (US/India):
- Lead a majority-legal remit (~60%) for a high-volume, MSP/VMS staffing business—draft/redline/negotiate MSAs, SOWs, subcontractor/vendor terms, and employment documentation (offers, contractor agreements, NDAs, IP/confidentiality, privacy notices);
- advise on classification/co-employment, wage/hour & leave/accommodations, cross-border data protection (DPAs/SCCs), and client-driven HIPAA/BAA/SOC 2 alignment—while steering targeted compliance operations (~40%) to codify offer-to-start controls for US (W-2/C2C/SOW) and India (FTE/contractor), run I-9/E-Verify, multi-state, and POSH/ICC audits, publish risk dashboards, and manage escalations with outside counsel.
- Briefly, support Rangam’s SaaS lines (e.g., TalentArbor/RangamWorks) by handling software licensing/SaaS subscription terms, reviewing tech SOWs and security/data exhibits, and partnering with Sales/Marketing on proposal language and risk positions for product deals.
- Ideal profile: 8–12+ years employment law with staffing/MSP and B2B SaaS contracting experience; JD or LL.B (bar preferred);
- comfort with Fieldglass/Beeline/Coupa and business-first judgment.
