Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain the HAPS environment for validation and testing. And also provide support for FW team to resolve setup related issues.
  • Handle high-end oscilloscopes, Analysers, and power supplies for precise test measurements.
  • Experience on procuring lab equipment’s and accessories, including coordinating with vendors and purchase teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project requirements.
  • Oversee CAPEX and OPEX orders, ensuring compliance with budgets and project needs.
  • Handle logistics tasks such as bonding/debonding goods, raising gate pass requests, and managing external shipments.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, Analysers, power supplies and validation boards, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all the hardware involved in the setup.
  • Plan and execute calibration of equipment, collecting traces on analysers, Power measurements, signal tapping activities as and when needed, minimizing interruptions, and ensuring on-time project releases.
  • Independently manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring no non-conformances (NC).
  • Assist pre-and post-silicon validation engineers by providing seamless lab support.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test setups to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Hardware reworks and modifications

 

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of prototyping platforms like HAPS.
  • HAPS farm management which includes network switches, IP power switches
  • Should have exposure to Linux and windows OS.
  • Interpret and work with board schematic documents.
  • Create and implement validation plans.
  • Develop and port test cases using C for ASIC functional validation whenever needed.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of boards and silicon bring-up processes.
  • Utilize tools such as Git/bitbucket and debugging tools like Niagara and Lauterbach(trace32)

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 5-8 years in a similar role supporting validation engineers and managing lab operations.
