Job Title: Specialist Contractor – Procurement Analytics

Location: Divyasree Technopolis, Hybrid - 3 days a week (minimum)

ROLE PROFILE:

The Contractor in the Group Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team will work within Reporting & Analytics team to drive various reporting activities (BAU as well as adhoc) with in spend management as well in Sustainability area. This person will also support the team in developing new automation as well as maintaining/updating the existing tools & platforms using Microsoft power platform capabilities. As a member of the Group Procurement CoE team, the contractor will report to the GP-CoE Manager & support the team in driving reporting, compliance & helping GP to drive strategic decisions based on data driven insights.
 
ROLE SUMMARY:

Group Procurement is responsible for managing third-party supplier engagements, partnering with the business to drive high performance and sustainable value from our supplier relationships.

Some key characteristics of the new Group Procurement organisation:
• Supplier spend c £2BN and c. 4,000 suppliers
• Team structured around:
o Three master categories of spend (Technology, Services and Corporate)
o A Strategy & Performance centre, enabling function to drive and implement the strategy of the Group Procurement function, best in class procurement policy and processes

This role sits in the Group Procurement (CoE) team, reporting into the GP-CoE Manager. Contractor will play the techno-functional role to support procurement reporting & Analytics team across various areas including
• Spend Reporting
• Power BI Dashboard development & maintenance including regular refresh
• Supporting in Sustainability reporting.
• Supporting in tools development & maintenance using Microsoft power platform (Power Apps/Power Automate etc)
• Compliance and reporting
Its purpose is to provide effective and high-quality assistance to all teams within the Group Procurement function to ensure the efficient delivery of category, sourcing, operations, and supplier management, Compliance, and communication management activities.
 
Key Functional Requirements:
• Undertake the spend analytics and reporting activity for group procurement, to develop various spend views, churn out the category insights and share with the group procurement stakeholders
• Prepare and manage PowerBI dashboards, or spend reporting presentations and share with procurement leadership
• Support team in the Sustainability reporting (SBTi) by providing data driven insights helping drive strategic decisions.
• Support team in developing & maintaining various Automation initiatives & platform by using Power platform capabilities (Powerapp, power automate, power bi etc.)
• Undertake various reporting and analytics activities supported by CoE
• Prepare monthly, weekly and quarterly report in line with the group procurement requirements and to support any compliance reporting etc
• Prepare PowerBI dashboard, excel based dashboards etc and ensure regular update and refresh of the reports as per the agreed cadence, work with various procurement stakeholders for plugging any gaps in the reports etc
• Support the wider Group Procurement team as required to execute defined Strategy & Performance processes that enable the wider team to be best in class (e.g. tiering and segmentation, spend analytics and reporting, demand management, stakeholder engagement and tooling)

Essential experience and skills required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Sourcing management, Procurement process management or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Reporting & Analytics (preferably procurement), developing dashboards (Excel, Power bi etc.) & developing Automation solution (using Sharepoint, Powerapp, power automate etc.)
• “Roll your sleeves up” person who will be effective both as an individual contributor and to be a part of the team
• Strong presentation and client/stakeholder engagement skills and be able to work with team to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful Go-live.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills: able to quickly foster positive relationships day to day which lead to the right results
• Exceptionally delivery focussed, with a proven track record of being able to manage a list of parallel and/or conflicting priorities
• Self-driven and positive attitude with the ability and willingness to take ownership of tasks, processes, and operations with limited direction

Technical skillsets:
• Excellent Microsoft office skills (especially, Powerapps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of automation tools ( Power automate, or equivalent)
• Procurement application experience in Source to Contract management, DocuSign, Oracle, and any other related platforms)
Desirable skills:
• Experience of procurement in a Financial Services Regulated Environment, Information Services Companies; FinTech’s; Global, multi-country organisations preferred
• Knowledge of implementing AI/automation initiatives in Procurement process management is a plus
