ROLE OVERVIEW
|
|
As a Software Engineer – ABAP with EWM you will be responsible for the development, enhancement and support of SAP applications using ABAP programming. You will work closely with functional teams, solution architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions that are robust, scalable and aligned with SAP best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
|
|
Education and Certifications
|

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline from a recognized institution
-
Certifications such as SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver are preferred
|
|
Required Experience
|
-
2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and EWM
-
Experience with reports (classical, ALV), module pool programming, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements and user exits
-
Exposure to full-cycle SAP implementation or support projects
|
|
Essential skills
|
-
Proficient in ABAP Objects, SmartForms, Adobe Forms and IDocs
-
Solid understanding of SAP data dictionary, performance tuning and debugging tools
-
Experience working with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI or PP
-
Ability to write technical specifications and collaborate with functional teams
-
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Desired skills
|

Exposure to OData services and SAP Fiori
-
Basic knowledge of SAP Workflow, Web Dynpro or SAP Gateway
-
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems

Understanding of SAP HANA concepts and code pushdown techniques

Delivery and Execution

Develop, enhance and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces

Support solution design and participate in technical specification reviews

Perform unit testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution in development and QA environments

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical deliverables

Support and Enablement
|

Provide post-go-live support and perform bug fixes and optimizations

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities

Document technical objects and maintain development standards

Stay current with SAP best practices, tools and technologies
