What you’ll do:
As a team, we divide our time between updating and evolving our strategic marketing websites and building new websites to support our digital transformation.

This role will be primarily focused on supporting our existing websites using either Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Drupal.

In a typical day you might find yourself working on requests to update client in English, Japanese or Simplified Chinese or client. Some of these requests will be urgent and require a same-day or even same-hour turnaround. Other requests might be worked on over a number of weeks and involve engaging with colleagues from other teams such as UX, design, search, digital strategy and marketing automation.

You’ll be working with content owners, and you’ll be viewed as an expert in your field. Our web publishers don’t just action requests, we understand the business requirements and using the benefit of our experience we make recommendations and apply best-practice.

From time to time we support the Digital Enablement team to test new functionality, Content Management System (CMS) upgrades or site launches. You’ll have the chance to join sprint demos to get an in-depth understanding of new features being developed.

You’ll stay connected with your web publishing peers around the world via Teams chat and regular team meetings. And you’ll join wider team and group calls to keep you informed.

Essential skills:
• At least two years’ experience using the AEM to maintain and update customer-facing websites.
• Strong verbal and written English-language communication and influencing skills with experience working for an international organisation where the business language is English.
• Attention to detail, a passion to deliver best-practice publishing and an appreciation of how that contributes towards web site performance.
• Comfortable running multiple projects simultaneously, often to timelines, and prioritising based on business priorities.
• Experience working directly with business owners. Not just taking instructions but recommending solutions and best-practice.
It would be great if you also have:
• Experience using Drupal
• Experience using another enterprise-level CMS
• Experience migrating websites to AEM
• Basic knowledge of HTML or XML
• An understanding and curiosity about website accessibility
• An understanding of how web publishing practices impact search engine optimisation (SEO)
• QA testing experience of web pages or site enhancements or bug fixes
• Experience leading a web publishing project from start to finish with minimal direction
• Prior experience working in Digital Marketing
