Overview

 

The Social Media Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting qualified candidates through major social platforms. This role focuses on building talent pipelines, managing outreach campaigns, and partnering with internal teams to support client hiring needs. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of social media recruiting strategies, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, and other relevant platforms to attract qualified candidates.
  • Create targeted outreach campaigns that increase visibility and engagement for open roles.
  • Manage inbound and outbound candidate communication through social channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill positions.
  • Collaborate with service delivery managers and account teams to understand role requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media recruiting metrics, including reach, engagement, conversion rates, and time-to-fill.
  • Stay current on platform updates, recruiting trends, and best practices to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with organizational policies, equal employment opportunity standards, and applicable laws.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience using LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social platforms for talent sourcing or community engagement.
  • Ability to demonstrate past success in filling roles using social media strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
