Duties
We are seeking a highly technical DevOps & Automation Engineer to join us.
This role is hands-on by design: planning, building, operating, and improving automation workflows, infrastructure, and application components across Linux and Windows environments. In addition to strong engineering skills, this role requires discipline in documentation, structured execution, and clear communication with multiple internal stakeholders.
This is not a “click-ops” or support-only role, the engineer is expected to design, build, debug, and operate.
- Design, build, and operate automation workflows using Ansible and AWX / Ansible Tower
- Analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements
- Debug production issues across application, automation, and infrastructure layers
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems used by the platform
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and operational readiness of platform components
- Deploy and operate services in containerized environments (Kubernetes)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns for repeatable and auditable environments
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and/or Node.js
- Build and maintain internal APIs and service integrations
- Ensure secure-by-design practices (access control, secrets handling, HTTPS, isolation)
- Own CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion, and release processes
Skills
Technical Skills
- 5+ years in DevOps / Automation / Platform Engineering roles
- Strong, hands-on experience with:
- Linux and Windows system administration and troubleshooting
- Ansible and AWX / Ansible Tower
- Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Infrastructure as Code principles and tooling
- Proven backend development experience with Python and/or Node.js
- Frontend experience with React (or equivalent modern JS frameworks)
- Strong scripting and debugging skills across multiple layers
- Experience operating production systems in enterprise environments

- Highly organized and methodical approach to work
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Ownership mindset — able to work independently and drive solutions to completion
- Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to non-developers
Education
Proven industrial experience, strong adherence to best practices, and the ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies in production environments.
