SaaS Engineer – Infrastructure

Relevant Experience: ~5 Years   |   Location: India (Preferably Vadodara)   |   Employment Type: 6 months

Work Hours : Day Shift (IST)

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a SaaS Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise SaaS applications. You will own platform reliability, scalability, and security, collaborating with development and DevOps teams to build resilient, well-monitored cloud environments on Azure or AWS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS to support SaaS application workloads
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS or EKS)
  • Configure and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
  • Implement and manage identity and access controls, network security groups, and cloud security posture
  • Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Datadog, or similar
  • Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
  • Optimize cloud costs through resource right-sizing, reserved capacity planning, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with development teams to support deployments, environment configuration, and release management
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and incident response playbooks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SaaS platform engineering
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS architectures
  • Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent
  • Experience with identity federation and SSO infrastructure setup
